Does anyone else think that they shouldn't hang it by string off it's tuners if it's worth that kinda cash?

    No.

The tuner shafts and screws are easily strong enough to support 6 pounds of weight (overly heavy 12 lb Paul divided by 2 tuners), and this methog guarantees that the finish won´t take damage from stands or similar, and that the guitar won´t be simply plucked off the wall by he next hack that comes in looking for an Epiphone Special II

Relatively common practice in the Vintage scene...

isn't the neck damaged when a guitar is hanged like that ?? i thought that by hanging a guitar like that, you are stressing the neck! i might of course be wrong

Think about how many pounds of pressure the strings put on the neck. I'm sure that just 12 more won't hurt it.

I´ve never seen a neck develop (structural) issues that could be traced to hanging it from it´s headstock w/ or w/o a wall hanger, if anything hanging it from it´s headstock will alleviate compression caused by the strings pulling on both ends like an ox

"IDEAL" would of course be in it´s case... not an option if you´re in the businedss of selling them

If I wanted to play that I'd use the one my dad keeps under his bed. Looks about the same age and shape...
