Good neck compliment for the Custom Custom

Ok, I've decided to go with the Custom Custom in the bridge of my Les Paul. What neck pickup would you recomend? A local guy her told me to look into the Jazz, but does the Jazz sing on leads? I like the way the 59 in the neck sings. The Alnico II Pro sort of has that, but it doesn't have the output to drive the amp that I like. Where would you place the Jazz in relation to the 59 and Alnico II Pro?

Anyway, the Jazz, Pearly Gates and Alnico II Pro are the best choices.

The Jazz is very articulate and clear. I think it sings. All depends on how you have things dialed in. It's my favorite neck pickup. I've paired it up with 3 different pickups and it's never failed me once in doing the job.

Yep, you did. I put up a poll. I ended up picking the standard PGn, which will be installed this week, hopefully. More as it develops, but I didn't think that the '59 and CC matched too well, so I am in the process of swapping for the PG.

A2P - Fat vintage
59 - Classic paf
PG - Paf with a little extra hot & sizzle on top! The ultimate (IMO) neck LP pup

What I really like about the PG and CC combo (besides each pup is awesome by itself) is how well they combine. That pair will get you to love the both on setting! You can get a whole palette of tones just by tweeking the appropriate volume or tone. The CC add a certain fatness to the PG's upper mid snarl, and the CC puts a big mid goose into the slightly scoopy PG. You'll love them!
