    Default Hex screws q's

    Hey!

I have a Demon here that I want to take the hex screws out of and try in my Jazz. Are the screws the same width -- i.e. will fit in a standard pickup screw hole? I assume that I'll also need to have an allen wrench to get them out. Anything else I should know so I don't screw up two perfectly good pickups?

I've got the right size of allen wrench, so it should be pretty soon...

You will probally have a Full Shed jazz hybrid most likely! It will have a row of slugs like the jazz and a row of hex's like the FS. I dont doubt they are the same coils!

My initial reaction is that it is a little more percussive and brighter (which I like in a neck humbucker.) I have an a4 magnet that I might try in it, we'll see.
