    Default min bucker question

    hi all
    1st time in this forum.
I have built a few projects using SD p/ups [teles] and I am branchig out.
Just bought a pair of p90s for blueshawk solid body.
I have been toying with the idea of using minibuckers in a blueshawk semi hollow body that is pretty close to pickup rout stage. I am after a diagram or a good description of what is under that cover. I have heard it is a rail type arrangement with no separate pole pieces. In particular how wide is the rail??
If in fact that is how it's built.
    thanks

Are you talking about the pickup mounting method? Or the internal pu construction? Mini's need a threaded bar or inserts in the body for the adjustment/mounting screws.

internal arrangement of the magnets etc. I want to know what is inside a early firebird pickup like the duncan mini. The one with no adjusting pole pieces.

There are no bobbins -- just bar magnets or pole pieces (depending on the design). You do not want to try to take the cover off: the coil is wrapped around the bar/poles and they will fall apart if you take the cover off.
