Default Bluesbreaker and Tele doing SRV Style!

Very very long since I recorded with my Tele, so I felt it was time for that tonight.

It's rough edged, raw and fast recorded, but it's quite some time since I had this fun recording something. Second and third take. I don't live in my apartment for now so I decided to take advantage of that and mic the Bluesbreaker.

I looked at the clock, 10.45pm, damn it no more loud recording today! So volume had to stay on 0.5 of 10 on my Bluesbreaker. Considering that and that I have a tone sucking 3.5mm plug mic, the tone turned out pretty nice I think.

    Hope you enjoy it!

Cool stuff man! You can tell it's a little thrown together(still not bad by any means). Man I have been gassing for a Bluesbreaker lately.

You're right SpeedDemon, you can definately tell that it's "thrown together", glad you still enjoyed it!

    Thanks Stratman!

Thanks T4D! You can for sure get a thick overdriven sound from teles, they'll always have a place in my heart I'm a little suprised about the double stops and how they came out, nothing was planned when I did this...It all just came with feeling. A great feeling though

Great sound. It just makes me think that Marshall ripped off a Fender circuit design when he started his business...

Everytime I second guess getting a bluesbreaker style amp built by Scott, you chime in with your bluesbreaker and renew my bluesbreaker gas

I know what you mean, that´s why I´ve got the Shawn Lane signature

I want a Tele too...sounded great! Especially that you´ve used a low volume

Glad you like it Marin! Well we have to be very thankful that Mr. Marshall did rip that circuit, because it lead to some of the greatest amps in the history

I'm just here to tell you that you need one! "You know you do Capo, you know you need one...otherwise it'll haunt you in your dreams" GAS is incurable, that's life

StrangeSound "that feeling" often leads to some unexpected turns in one's playing... and that's just awsome

Teles are awsome guitars, haven't played nothing but the Thursday Burst lately so it's loads of fun and very inspiring to play the Tele now, it's a totally different beast...Got to work them in a whole different way and that's fun. Cool that you liked the tone, I was a little suprised about that as well. Didn't think I'd be able get it to sound that good at such low volume, great news for me!
