2 humbuckers/3-way switch/2 vol-2 tone but not wired the "classical" LP way?

Where the caps are soldered directly on the tone pots instead of being between the tone and volume as in the regular diagram on the duncan site...

I'm vague, sorry for that but I'm sure someone somewhere knows what wiring I'm talking about...

Are you just talking about a change in the configuration of the tone control?

Hi, I ask because my el-cheapo les paul copy is wired in this configuration and something's wrong... I need to troubleshoot. I'm not used to this particular wiring, hence my question.

The schematic you linked looks quite like what I'm looking for. I'll give it a closer look when I get back from work... Thanks a bunch!
