Default Noiseless single coil that is similiar to Jazz neck?

I am really used to a Jazz in the neck of my LPs and I would like something that sounds similiar and has a similiar output for the neck of my Strat. I put a Custom in the bridge and I love it but I am having a hell of a time finding the right neck pickup. First I tried a STK-S4 classic stack plus and it wasn't hot enough for me. Then I tried the JB Jr and while it sounds great, it's a little darker than I would like. I like being able to get a singing sustaining lead sound as well as a spanky clean. I WANT IT ALL!

    Any suggestions?

Put a Jazz in the neck position of the strat..

    Otherwise try the Cool rails.

It's been awhile since I've heard a Dimarzio Fast Track in the neck, and I'm a few days away from installing one. If this is still going then, I'll come back. But I can recommend it anyway. It's like a crisper Cool Rails, and it's a good deal higher output than the Classic Stack, and it should give you a very good approximation of the Jazz tone, minus all the "rail vs. full size" limitations. The Pro Track is probably your better alternative, but I haven't heard one in the neck. They use Dual Resonance in those rails, and I think it helps to give some of the crisp attack you get in the Jazz, while I think the Cool Rails' attack will be a little softer than a Jazz neck.

So you want the tone of a Duncan Jazz neck humbucker but in a single coil size?

Closest thing to a Jazz neck HB is the 59N HB.

So I'm going to guess that you'd probably like a neck Little 59...it's sort of like having a 59N HB in a Strat single coil size.

Lil 59 or Cool Rails are the ones I think would get you closest....
