Default Line 6 pod or a boss me-50/gt6?

I need some portable sounds, In your opinions which of these 3 would be the best buy and why?
I'm really looking for really tight and heavy distortion but I want to have other sounds at my disposal, If you can recommend any really good dist. pedals, that would be cool too.
    Thanx

PODxt hands down! Plus with the new Atomic Amp almost here, you could pop the POD right in the Atomic and have it amplified.

I know a few guys like the high gain stuff better on the 2.0, but overall I think you can get the same tones on the XT. Besides everything else is much better on the XT... cleans, crunch, effects, editable from the LCD screen, more amp and cab models. And, the editing software is way better on the XT from Line 6.

I've got a pile of soundbytes on my forum listed below on the PATCHES page under PODxt soundbytes to give you an idea of the wide variance of tones available.
