Default DM DSonic, X2N and Duncan Distortion comparison?

Any basic voicing differences from those who know..? I LOVE the looks of an all black X2N or blade pickup in general, and I'm looking for a thickass sound that I believe these pickups may deliver... It's for a basswood guitar.

'thickass' sound? hmm, dont expect that from the X2N.
X2N is a really bright pup, lots of treble. It will give u a great crunch for riffing but no 'thick' sounds man.

Better off going for a DD if u're looking for that kinda tone.

I agree on the X2N. A lot of cut and power. Not that thick.

The DSonic tho is very thick. I have one in my Rhoads and I really like it for thick "Wall of Sound" Power chords.
