Default The most sought-after item on ebay...

is apparently a mixer. Every time I look for one, there's no deals to be found. Even the stupid Behringer 802 that sells new for $50 ends up selling used for basically the same amount. What gives? I've bought TUBE amps for cheaper than most of the mixers on ebay.

Gahahaha I had a boyfriend that was really into decks and was always looking out on Ebay for this particular Technics one being cheap. He spent so much time loking that it'd be betterfor him time and stress-wise to have just saved up for one new, it'd have a guarantee too then. Of course now, I know more than I want to about torque and the difference between direct drive and belt drive. :I

I find that most things on Ebay go for nearly as much as you can buy them for new on the internet. Except when I get someone to sell my stuff on Ebay and then it goes for peanuts. Murphy's law ^_^
How many riffs could a riff-quiff riff if a riff-quiff could quiff riffs?

Torque as in how powerful the deck is, so that it will not take long to get back up to speed if you are scratching the record and let go.

I know! That's the reason to stick a V8 in it!

Yup, and you can also get new superb sounds by revving the vinyl disc up to 6000 rpms!
