    Once again, youth fails to consider context.

    At the peak of their popularity, the Beatles influenced music, art, fashion and politics.
    Sgt. Pepper was mind-blowing when compared to the offerings on AM radio.

    Oasis on the other hand, produced some good songs by ‘standing on the shoulders of giants’.
    Their music didn’t change anything.


    ...I also find it hard to believe “Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols
    ” didn’t make the cut.

    And to that, I'm willing to bet The Beatles made more money TODAY than Oasis did in their peak.

    Granted, record sales don't really mean much, but it says a lot for a band that hasn't been around for 35 years & 2 members are deceased.

    I love Oasis and I hate the Beatles. But that doesn't mean I think that Oasis is, was or ever will be "better" than the Beatles.

    The anti-Beatles sentiment is the direct result of trying to cram something down others throats constantly.
