At one point ESP made a small number of guitars in the US, customs and the "MX" series, consisting of the MX-1,2 and 3 with the color-change-o paintjobs and maple fretboards ...

GMP probably made 'em at some point but they went under, unfortunately.

KXK guitars makes Vs...and nice ones...

If you are looking for a custom axe then I'd def go Dean or Hamer. But if ya just want bare bones "classic" V (as well as classic V tone), Gibsons are the way to go for less $ (how often can ya say that about a Gibson? )

Korina Vectors are $2500 plus. standard Vectors w/ flametops are around $2000 and go up from there. Dean USA TCs and customs (baring the "pro" series) start around $1800 and get up into 3-4 K.
I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.

BC Rich also makes custom Vs and at reasonable prices too.

btw KXK no longer makes 'standard' model Vs, they're 'custom' jobs so they'd be about the same price as any of the other custom shops.

Just wait until you see the metal flake leopard V that's in the works, it's the single most obnoxious thing I've ever seen. :fing25:
