Wink A Poem for the Morning People

    I woke early one morning,
The earth lay cool and still
    When suddenly a tiny bird
    Perched on my window sill,
He sang a song so lovely
    So carefree and so gay,

    That slowly all my troubles
    Began to slip away.
He sang of far off places
    Of laughter and of fun,
    It seemed his very trilling,
    Brought up the morning sun.

    I stirred beneath the covers
    Crept slowly out of bed,
    Then gently shut the window
    And crushed his little head.

    I'm not a morning person

I hate mornings, but I love birds. I guess this makes me feel ... um ... neutral?

Hey! No fair posting a response that is funnier than the joke!

Then again, define your love for birds. That concerns me....

    LOL

Oh well, here's one for everybody... not a poem.

Two cows standing in a field. One turns to the other and says " Moo "
The other one says "Damn, I was just about to say that !"

    And the ever-popular:

I found a bird with broken wing,
I tried to help the little thing.
I drew it near with crust of bread,
And then I crushed its little head.

"HEY! Ya down here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the crushing of little bird's heads a banned topic here?" Come on guys!"

Especially when you get to sit behind the trumpets and you can unload your spit valve into their chairs everytime they stand up. Junior High rocked.
