After a while you'll probably just get bored of looking/sounding like everyone else with the SG

And good deals are ALWAYS to be found one way or another between now and the 80 or so years in the future you'll be playing guitar. Though the best deal IS when someone else pays for something, it feels much better to pay for it yourself

yeah it's either that or the stormbird and the mondial is soundin better even if it is 150 dollars more. that's the price you pay though. a lot of people find them too dark but i'm thinking that'll be fine for now. i wonder if it's POSSIBLE to replace the p'ups on this thing. i guess i could always be the first one on the forums to buy this beast!

Only time my parents payed for a guitar was my ricky as a graduation gift, but they still expect me to pay back half on it. (Which isn't unfair, $1200 is a HUGE graduation gift.)

yep that's a good idea except for the tiny problem that i only have one amp and that's the nomad. i do have a marshall cab but if i sold that i wouldn't have anything to play the nomad through . i guess i could sell the frontman 15g i got with my squier but that would get me about $25. yeah i'm gonna save up. don't worry about me, i have to save up as well.
