Default E to e poles distance on standard spaced SD buckers?

Various searches couldn't bring this up Could anyone tell me what the distance is between the two E poles on standard and trembucker spaced SD humbuckers? I'd like to buy a cover and I need to make sure it'd fit. Thanks!

If nobody answers, I'll measure them when I get home. That'll probably be a few hours, though.

Thanks man! I can measure but it's hard to to get to the half mm correct. Some covers are spaced for 49.5mm, others for 50... I'd hate to get the wrong one by .5mm :P

Though wait... with 6 poles... This wouldn't even matter would it..?

Hey Pierre; If you go to the main page, and go to the "humbucker" listing, you'll see a link with each pickup for "dimensions". Click that for the mechanical specs. For example, here's the 59 and trembucker 59 specs:

    As you can see, a regular 59 spacing is 2.0". (50.8mm) A trembucker is 2.07" (52.578mm), which is .414 x 5 places.

Ok... well the cover was 50mm, not 50.8 so I had to enlarge the holes a little. It's barely visible and it looks kickass. On another hand it's NOT easy to solder a cover on, jeese... Whenever I move into the new flat I'll wax pot it.

What size of screws should I use to mount it in? On the diagram it says 3-48, but I don't really know what that means... I got some screws today that went in at first, but wouldn't go more than a couple of millimeters. So I'm guessing they're imperial measurements?

I'd probably end up just taking it to a hardware store and trying different screws until I found one that would fit. I don't know if that's an option where you live, though.

We need some pics when you get it finished, though.

Well I just spent an hour in town doing all the hardware/electronics/hobby/locksmiths I could find.

Not ONE had the right size screw. There is nothing with imperial measurements left here.
So I have absolutely no way of getting the right screws here.

I'll restrain my urge to laugh at Europeans giving up those "old, out-dated measurements" and feel sorry for you in your current predicament.
