This is a Hamer Standard explorer style, pretty much like a 58 explorer with some slightly different lines and more rounded corners. Came stock with Duncan Designed HB102 (JB/ Jazz), which are OK but not great. The JB needs more low end and tightness, and the Jazz needs to sound better with the volume pot rolled off. I swapped an A8 into the JB which helped make it meatier and metal-er (?) but I still want more low end. A3 into the Jazz helped out and it's actually a decent neck bucker, but I'd still like to try something different.

What I'd like is a meaty but bright bridge tone and a neck tone good for leads which can also do chords without muddying up. Thought about a Super D/ Super 2 (or Paf Pro), Custom/ 59n which was suggested in threads on this forum, DDb/DDn (or Screamin Demon in the neck). Any suggestions, and why do you like them?
