Congrats to France. I hope they carry their play right into the finals. Their was a lot of action at the end of the second half.

Good run for Portugal. They have nothing to be ashamed of. They lost to a very experienced and much older team.

I predict the final, given the two teams' defenses, will be a very boring 1-0 result, with Italy catching a lucky break late in the game.

I hope the third place match is a good match.

I think both games will be interesting..the 3rd place match is with germany and portugal so I think it will be interesting, because it always is when one of the teams are the hosts..and the final, well, it's the final..I hope france beats italy

Congratulations to the French. I could have lived without the events that led to that penalty but then again I could have lived without all the stunts our players pulled after it.

They had a good defense and our offense just couldn't cut it. Maybe they'll learn from all of this.

I feel sorry Figo won't play another WC and have a chance to get this far.

All and all I'm pretty proud of my team, they got somewhere they hadn't been in 40 years.

Who am I rooting for now? Don't know... I'd like Italy to beat the French, but the French are clearly superior... Right now, Italy, lets see when it sinks in.

It's a bummer, but I'd rather lose to a good team like the french than some poor team, and besides, being among the 4 best isn't a bad position for Portugal, considering some of the teams they've been up against.
