What do you think of this combo: APH-1N and custom custom?

Hey guys.

What do you think of this combo? I'm thinking of putting an Alnico Pro II in the neck (just because I like those mellow cleans SO much) and a custom custom in the bridge. How would this sound? I like the high output distortion of the custom custom, and the vintage sound of the APH. This is going in my LP btw.

I'm pretty much sold on the Alnico for the neck. I've been chasing the Slash tone for years now! I'm just trying to fiind a good pup for the bridge - one that will compliment the APH well.
