Default Brobucker Related Conversation, I found it kind of funny...

I was talking with my friend today, who just got a new Takamine Acoustic-Electric guitar. Its very nice, plays great (but has high action, high for me anway), and sounds pretty good too. So we were talking about acoustic guitars, when he says I should sell my Squier to fund an acoustic guitar purchase. I said "Well then where would I put my Brobucker! That thing cost me more then the guitar alone!" He then told me I should sell the guitar with the Brobucker in it to increase how much I get for it.

My friend isn't very much into the electronical aspect of guitars, and doesn't really understand pickups, pots, wiring, or amps for that matter So I don't blame him. I just found it funny how he wanted me to sell my Brobucker in a Squier guitar, considering the Brobucker is worth much more then the guitar itself, and its one of my favorite humbuckers (Compared to the others I've tried, each in axes I've tried at GC, all of which I've liked - JB, '59, A2P, and PG). I hope to be able to educate him on this stuff eventually...if he ever listens

Yup! When buying the Brobucker, you agreed that if you'd ever sell the Brobucker, you'd HAVE to sell it to another forum member . The pickups were not allowed to pop up on eBay

I could always buy it from you if the price is right...

What? A guitar AND a custom shop SD pup? I'd be crazy or really poor if I didn't try.

Tell him you can't get enough for it to buy a SD MagMic. It'll really get him going when he hears how much that pickup is!

Although, he might be able to understand electric pups if you work him in that way.
