I was talking with my friend today, who just got a new Takamine Acoustic-Electric guitar. Its very nice, plays great (but has high action, high for me anway), and sounds pretty good too. So we were talking about acoustic guitars, when he says I should sell my Squier to fund an acoustic guitar purchase. I said "Well then where would I put my Brobucker! That thing cost me more then the guitar alone!" He then told me I should sell the guitar with the Brobucker in it to increase how much I get for it.

My friend isn't very much into the electronical aspect of guitars, and doesn't really understand pickups, pots, wiring, or amps for that matterSo I don't blame him. I just found it funny how he wanted me to sell my Brobucker in a Squier guitar, considering the Brobucker is worth much more then the guitar itself, and its one of my favorite humbuckers (Compared to the others I've tried, each in axes I've tried at GC, all of which I've liked - JB, '59, A2P, and PG). I hope to be able to educate him on this stuff eventually...if he ever listens
