    Default Less is more?

No, not playing speed. More is always more there

I'm talking about gain. For the last few days I've been playing with tones that are a lot closer to mid gain than high, and I'm really digging it. It's much clearer, gives more room for dynamic nuances, and plain sounds nicer.

And, imo, it's still entirely possible to shred just as well with mid gain.

Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.
