tell me What´s the Best Guitar strings

Until I tried Elixir strings I didn't have a favorite. However, these strings last FOREVER. Even with a floating Floyd they just hold up extremely well. They last way longer than the black-coated Black Diamond strings I had been using and way longer than Ernie Ball Super Slinkys.

HOLY MARY MOTHER OF JESUS! that is a lot of money for strings! when i said they don't cost that much, i was wrong. just go by these posts, don't test out your own. that'd be a tidge to spendy. the elixirs are not THAT good. i like my d'addario exl115's for what i play, course i don't play heavy stuff. it says right on the package for blues/jazz rock/fusion. so they're probably not for you....

I've never tried Elixir guitars strings, but I've tried their bass strings (my Schecter Stiletto Deluxe-5 came with them). I did not like the coating; it smoothed the sound out too much, & started peeling off of the strings pretty quickly. I switched to a set of Hi-Beams & got the growl I wanted.

DThe Ernie Ball 12-56 is a good one, too, but that plain 24 G is a beast!

Whenever I use that set I order a 22 plain single to replace the 24, balances out nicely IMO.

ive used everything from dean markley to ernie ball to ghs. the ones that finally have my attention are the dave mustaine signature progressives. it has the heavy lower strings for good drop d action and it still has regular gauge strings for playin leads in standard tuning. they have my vote. i also have a guitar that i keep in a full step down or lower whichever i feel, but on that one i have the zakk wylde set just cause the strings are really heavy and its good for a little drop action. so GHS has my vote on strings.
