Default new song. comment on playing!

this started out as a showing curly how good he is . and i ended up with this. i didn't really feel like doing it over. but i always seem to do worse when i'm recording. my hands get sweaty and so on and so forth. this way it shows my true skill. it's way sloppy and doesn't really have a form. it's basicaly soloing with a few chords chucked in. just comment. i didn't use my nomad but i got a decent tone for what i needed. i'm doing this purely for skill rating. if you could rate 1-10 1 being worst. that would be excelent as well as comments and constructive critisism. the title's pretty straight forward.

i think it's okay. i've gotten A LOT better since the last clip i made. i don't know in what way but i think i have.

id say maybe a 4 out of 10. some of the chord rhythm playing was alright. Most of the bending was not in tune, and you are off in rhythm in most spots. Some of the ideas seem to be decent, but executed poorly. You have some potential, but the bending and timing (particularly timing of the notes in relation to eachother) needs some help.

thank you. this is the stuff i've been looking for. you see, i've never noticed that as i don't have very good timing . whenever i try to criticize myself i'm always too hard and i rarely catch anything. looks like i've got quite a bit a work ahead of me. a 4, whew. what is this compared to out of curiousity? what i should be at 3 yrs or someone that is really good? cause if it's the first i need A LOT of improvement. i'll have to grab that darn metronome.....

well, i just said a 4 because it needed some help. You are not as bad as my post may have come off as. The bending in tune definately is an area you need to work on. The timing thing i was talking about i think you may have interpreted incorrectly. Your timing is not way off or anything, its not like you are all over the place. Thats not what i meant. But rather, the timing of your notes in relation to eachother is a little off. Some of the little licks were thrown off because one note was just very slightly off from where it should have been sounded, or sometimes you had that lower string droning and you would strike it out of rhythm with the whatever lick you were going to add on top of it. Things like that make you sound sloppy overall. Its not something you cant correct, but you need to work on it.
