there's one in OT. Anyways... that place seems to offer what you'll need regardless.

if it's japanese guitarjapan.com will do it too, but it's more expensive...

Don't know of any cheaper places, cept ebay if you get lucky

    Kool, thanks for the leads.

That Sonic youth thread reminded me of sumthing....Awhile back there was a thread where you (I think it was you anyways) posted some pictures of some virtual jazzmaster/jaguars an stuff. What site did you do that on? The only virtual guitar things I've been able to find are the jackson one, and kisakae (or however thats spelled). Be much more interesting/fun to be able to do that kisakae sorta stuff on jazzmaster/jaguars, being as the ONLY guitar kisakae has that I'de actually wanna play is the Tele's. haha. So lemme know if ya could what that site is. Thanks.

yep That's mine. 96 MIJ, one of the first ones they made in alder

And I'm in the process of building a 66 Mustang just like the one Curly's holding in my sig too (I wasn't originally going to do it that way, but plans have changed)

It matches right nice matches my eyes too

The original plan for the Stang was to construct it out of spare parts and make a comp. orange 69 replica, with the red racing stripe and matching stock

But I managed to get an original 66 neck where the headstock just looked too cool to refinish, and I've now got a 66 body, which doesn't have the tummy and arm contour like a 69 would have...

So I'm figuring since I'm not going to have a matching stock or contours, and I really want it to be that way if it's orange at all, I'm just going to go for daphne blue and make it a real 66 as much as I can

The orange project is left for another day I'll probably cut apart an CIJ for that or something... They have new poplar Mustang reissues
