im thinking about buying one very soon. what pickups sound good in them. or is it not worth changing the stock ones?

I like the stock pups. I bought it to sound like it does. I have other instruments to cover other bases. If you need more versitilty a change may be in order but I can't help you. No experience with other pups in that axe.

I have used a pair of 59's, A Demon, an APH-1 neck which still is in it, and it is a keeper for neck, in the bridge I now use a 59n screwcoil together with the allenwrench slugcoil from the Demon and that one is also a keeper, but all of those above sounded quite well in the Wolfgang, very allround and good to use, covers alot of ground.
