    If you are over 40, chime in with your sagely advice for the younger forumites.

    1. Don't take any wooden Nickels.

    2. If something is new & improved....................it usually isn't.

    3. Speed isn't everything

    4. There is a difference between style & fashion.

    5. Never let a drummer be a bandleader.

    6. If you hit a clunker, do it 2 or 3 more times and the audience will think you are playing "outside".

    7. If you think you are too loud....you probably are.

    8. Tone is subjective.

    9. Take care of yourself

    10. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and keep a positive outlook.
