    Default EMG-Tele Set

    Hi all
I heard the EMG T set for telecaster sound samples on the EMG site, and for me it sounded like a singlebucker with a telecaster edge.
    Is it real?
Can I get a good (humbucker like) hard rock sound out of them with easy pinch harmonics ? ( ala Van Halen, ZZ Top, Mötley Crue, Wylde)
Or look for somewhere else for that kind of sound?

    Really thanks for the help!

I have a set of these in a Peavey Tele copy (the Alnico, not Ceramics). I don't know how much they sound like a humbucker...these are voiced more like singles without the hum. That said, I have used them for hard rock tones...they do get the Zakk squeals on the low strings easily.

NOOOOO They sound TOTALLY single coil and verrrry HI FI

You can alter the tones if you buy some of their other controls that they have for sale.

If you want to buy a set, let me know - I have 2 I do NOT use.

Thanks for the info Farkus. Have you got recordings with it?
Hard rock with real single sound sounds strange to me, but interesting. Maybe I should try it. :-)

OlinMusic: I really thinking of buying a T set (not the TC) but I am from Hungary, and next week I am moving to England for 3 months, so making the bussines is a little hard :-) , but thanks for the offer.
