It's completely inconcievable that anyone that even pretends they've played a show in front of an audience think that it's in any way acceptable to throw stuff at a band for playing their music.

I saw them in concert a month ago. I don't really like their music, but the guitarist had a sweet gibson hollow body, and the singer hit every note perfectly.

They were really impressive live. Plus, they had sweet dancers.

Panic! At the Disco's album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" is one of the catchiest albums I have in my 500+ collection. It's an entertaining listen from front to back with great lyrical content, I don't know what some people have on this board against anything "popular", but they're not hack musicians (some of the stuff is actually complicated, believe it or not) and it pisses me off to see stuff like this happen. NOBODY deserves a bottle chucked at them, well, maybe Axl Rose, but most musicians don't deserve that kind of punishment.

Simply because they're doing their job. Some person, who more than likely has never even met the dude, throws a bottle at him from a crowd. I don't know what you do for a living, whether you're sitting at your desk trading million dollar bonds or cleaning the urinals at Quickie Mart- you don't expect to have a bottle thrown at your frickin' head, you don't DESERVE to have a bottle thrown at your frickin' head. When you're in your nobody band playing to all 5 drunks that would much rather be listening to the jukebox playing Freebird, you still don't deserve to have a bottle thrown at your frickin' head. Same goes for when you're in a "big time" band, you don't deserve to have a frickin' bottle thrown at your frickin' head.

It's completely "F"d up that someone who's supposedly a musician can be even remotely approving of this. No matter how much you think you rule, no matter how much you think your band kicks ass, someone doesn't like your band. You're, in effect, saying it's OK to have a frickin' bottle thrown at your frickin' head.

when i like the entertainer. or can even tolerate them. and when theyre...yknow....killed. or seriously harmed. (i suppose those last ones are the more acceptable answers. this guy was hardly killed. while i dont think it was "right", it still is amusing. cmon, 2 liters of piss? the fact that they gathered 2 liters of piss just for this purpose is entertaining on its own.

If this had happened to the rolling stones, you know something kick ass would have come of it. and it wouldnt happen to the stones.
