    Default Life Without Her

    I didn't want to hijack Mattt's thread.

It did remind me that Mrs. HamerPlyr is not here, hasn't been for a week because she's in California, and that I hate it. As much as I would like to appear to be the macho "I don't need nothin'" guy, it reminds that I do need her. My best friend ain't here, and I don't like it. She'll be back tomorrow, and I'm counting the minutes.

As much as we like to claim that we are miserable in marriage, it's not true. Not for me, anyway, in this case. As much as I love some of you guys, you could never take the place of her.

If you want to talk about how great your woman is, here's your chance. Go for it if you feel moved to do so.

I've been with my girlfriend for 3 1/2 years, and now we're in our third year of college. I go 2-3 months at a time before I see her for a few days or 2 weeks, and then we go another few months. I know the feeling dude! We're not married, but I know the feeling. It sucks.

Er, the only woman in my life is my best friend, and I love her. (And I dont mean, shes my girlfriend and best friend, just.. best friend). Shes one of the few people that I can just.. get along with.. talk constantly about anything with. Shes the only girl that I could currently imagine marrying (all other teenage boy loves/crushes are like.. whee sex, physical pleasure, short term).

Shes also one of the two girls/human beings on the planet who laughs at my stupid jokes. I have very strong feelings for her, even if they aren't in a girlfriend-boyfriend way.

When I'm with the woman I'm seeing (both in our 40s), it's like one of those old Beatles love songs...

I love my peeps, but I could use a week alone in the house. The amp would never see anything below 4, and the TV would never come on (save Football and old 80s concert vids)

    it would be.... MATTFEST

I love my wife like there's no tomorrow. I went a long time during my late teens and early 20's looking for her. I'm a very lucky guy as she looks like she's in her early 30's instead of the 45 that we both are.

He does have some prostetic legs, which he used to jam at UGD, but we had to prop him up first.

She looks lovely...and you both really look happy...

But in that photo you also kind of remind me of the South African guy from Lethal Weapon 2 - you know 'Diplomatic Immunity...'
