My favorite canadian is above. I've had no use for Neil Young since he put out the song "southern man".
I should have said this earlier, but the book "Shakey" is a great bio of him and really gets into what some of the recording sessions were like. The stuff about the tours he did around the time of "Tonight's the Night" is very funny.



I love Neil and Leonard Cohen but this is my favorite Canadian - well the one singing lead, he happens to be my singer too

I think it was 1989 when I saw this goth band cover Neil's song "Old Man". It was a very cool version of the tune and it also brought out the idea that the song is timeless.
