Jolly, I'm gonna call you one of these days. But, since we're on the subject, I once travelled to Vicksburg, Mississippi to do some work at the big Corps of Engineers laboratory there. Many hard, thick southern accents, and many very brilliant people.... it just felt strange to be talking fried Catfish one moment and failure modes of concrete the next.

Yes, and I stayed at the Battlefield Inn, where they serve free drinks in the evening.
The battlefield was beautiful, and they have an Ironclad on display now. Very cool. And did you know across the river in Looosiana, you can get Daquiris from a drive-thru window? No kidding.
