Got a guitar with a deep cavity....

My Frankenkramer's got a VERY deep cavity and the pickup has to be direct mounted. What's the best way to handle this? Should I stick some foam to the bottom of the cavity?

But seriously, just use long screws and springs. If the pickup tends to rock back and forth, your foam idea would help.

Couldn't you just glue a wood block in? That's what I had to do with the filtertron in my gibson.
