Already got it: Schecter goldtop PT with tapped 59 set.

OK, it would be better with a nice birdseye neck rather than the MIM, but still...

Anyway, my dream guitar would be the perfect blend between a Les Paul and a Telecaster. Something with the bite and twang of a tele with the warm mid range of a Les Paul. Would somehow have to take the ergonomics of each one and mold them into a body shape that was perfect for me. Not sure where I'm going to find that one.

With the proper wood selections (and a set of Phat Cats), a Carvin Holdsworth model would probably do what you're describing.

    That^
I'de probably have to get it custom (warmoth or sumthing). But someday I will own a silver sparkle tele with binding and a matching headstock. Although it probably won't happen anytime even remotely soon, cause I'm poor as hell.

Second choice (cheaper and deffinately easyer to just find at a store) would be a Muddy waters tele.

IDK if this is what I'd call my dream guitar...but if I had money to burn on a guitar this would be it.

    LOST 100 ML

But really, this Time Capsule would do just fine

Another Hamer Standard Custom would be up there too, but I'd have to change some stuff..neck shape, binding, etc.

Me too. I did a search earlier on the web, and there aren't that many out for sale yet. The one I did manage to find was $4100. For that kind of coin, I can damn near get my Murphy Historic.

The Leslie West signature is a limited run of about 100, IIRC...and hence the price. the "Lost 100" ML I posted above alos runs a bit over 4Gs.

The Time Capsules and regular Solteros will run in the 2K range.

I can live with $2k for a Soltero....the used price ought to be $1500-1800 in 6 months or so on eBay.
