    Default older Squier Questions

Local shop has an old Squier in... not Japan, It's Korean.... Nice neck, kind of 57 reissue like, nice finnished neck, thick finnish but nice... Trem is vintage specs with a nice full block, frets are like new...

I can only remember part of the seriel number, but it starts with "S90....". I figure 1989 but i'm guessing

what are the chnaces this Squier is PLYWOOD?

    It's for a good price.... $220 Canadian

I have seen a few of those MIK Squires...most if them were from the early to mid 90's as far as I know...pull thr trem cover off and see if it's plywood or not...Im betting it's not but I don't wannt say for sure.

Thanks for the imput... i almost bought it tonight.... but i need another cheap strat like a hole in the head... But i still am looking into it...

I have a 1994 MIM Squier strat.... by 94 Fender was without a contract for an over seas factory to make Squiers so they made them in Mexico for a short time.... the mIM Squire is pretty much the same as a MIM Standard

The frets and neck look new on this strat yet the body is a bit beat up.... this i find slightly strange, but all the parts are pretty much stock Squier looking from the late 80's.....
