    can anyone confirm what is in this axe?
    i heard CC ,then i heard hybrid
    ironically my dimarzio B1 sounds a lot like it so i need to know what pup dimarzio used to fabricate the EVH B1
    steve at dimarzio was no help at all, all he said was something was wrong with the pup that eddie used at that time crap i knew that from interviews i wanted answers man! LOL!!!

    The 59/Custom Hybrid is the only pickup I have ever heard that combines the Attack, Power/Strength and Clarity you are hearing there... especially in the first video...
    The CC is more squashed sounding...

    yes but is there any definitive proof he used one?
    i hear a real special pup on those recordings and know it is NOT a bone stock PAF
    it has a real unique midrange and great harmonics
