Metal pickup for RG321...Help?

Ok, i was thinking of putting in a SD Custom in the bridge and SD Distortion at the neck. Is that a good choice? I'm using a mahogany bodied Ibanez RG321. I want to be able to play Metallica and A7X kinda stuff, so i'm gonna be using drop-d once in a while. I'm lead guitar btw, would those be good for solo-ing and also provide good cleans? I'm also trying to get better pinch harmonics.

Could you guys tell me whether i should go along with those pickups or do you guys recommend any others? And please break it down into which i should put in the neck and which i should put in the bridge. Thanks in advance guys!

Get a distortion set. Distortion neck and bridge.

I'd probably go with a Custom in the bridge, and a Jazz in the neck. Never played a DDn though, and I hear good things.

I suggested the Custom/DDn for someone with that guitar

(playing through a high gain amp for metal)

and it smoked

I like the Wizard II neck on that guitar

I'm thinking about getting one, and putting a Screamin Demon in the bridge and a Full Shred in the neck
