Pearly Gates vs. BB Pros, Rio Grande BBQ. Opinions?

Hey there

I have a Les Paul standard with BB pros. Looking for a pu on the vintage side of things. Heard some great clips here of the pearly gates clean to distorted. WOW!!!! Looking at possibly putting a set in. How do they compare to the
BB Pros. Much of a differance or waste of $. Also Have a BBQ kicking around never tryed it in the Paul How does it compare with the other 2.

I thought the BBQs were too WOOFy. nice on the top end but REALLY fat and bassy. Of the three you mentioned I prefer the PGs...just my 2 cents.

The BB pros are the alnico 5 mags, while the Pearly are alnico 2's. Not sure of the differances of the the 2.
