Default Suggestions for pickups for Les Paul

    Hey guys

I play Alternative/Rock. I have a Les Paul at home with a SH-2 (neck) and SH-13 (bridge) and I'm very happy.

I'm getting a new silver sparkle Les Paul and want to try something different.

I quite liked the humbucker pickup on the Fender Telecaster custom '72, so I thought maybe a SH-55 seth lover model™. What would go well with that in the bridge for my style?

Or what about a set of SPH90-1 Phat Cats?

    What do you guys think?

    Tim

Seth Lovers or Antiquities will work

I would go with the Antiquities, personally.

What model numbers are Antiquities? I've never heard of them before. Thanks.

Thanks man. I've read up on previous posts, and I think the Sh-55 is the right one for me (in the neck). I just need to decide which one would be better for me in the bridge bewtween:

    SH-5
    SH-11
    SH-14

I'm kinda thinking the SH-11. Does anyone have any experience with this choice of combo in a Les Paul?

I currently have the -11 in my LP combined with an APH-1 (in the ballpark of the -55) in the neck. It's a good sounding combo that's smooth, big, and fat. It might be a bit TOO smooth for some, depending on personal taste. BTW, there's nothing wrong with the Seth combo.
    Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

Anyone know which artists use this combo on a Les Paul? Just want to make sure it will suit my sound!
