Does it have to be a movie? There are some good fiction books involving Bipolar Disorder (e.g., Banana Kiss)

I'm sure the standard isn't your own idea, but don't you find it kinda ironic that you mean to show a portrayal of a disorder more disturbing than any naughty word or bare boobie?

Mattt's rec for Mr. Jones is a good one. IDK about the content, though, been too many years. I just remember the portrayal being quite good.

I've heard that Punch Drunk Love and Crazy Beautiful are good as well, but I have not seen them.
