Default Stereo: Yamaha Power amp and Pre amp

I have a Yamaha M-60 power amp and a C-60 preamp. This is a great circa 1986 stereo home stereo system. The M-60 is rated at 160 watts per channel. But, I've had some problems with it. It's blown one of the large power capacitors a couple times. I've had it replaced twice and it's blown it again. I've been getting that capacitor replaced but the root issue apparently hasn't been properly addressed. I'm sure in the right, knowledgeable hands this M-60 could be repaired and really rock out.

    The C-60 Preamp works fine.

For lack of a better idea of what to do with it, I thought I'd post these items on here. If anyone is willing to cover the cost of shipping. The M-60 power amp is a little heavy, it's probably 10 pounds. I don't know how much that will cost to ship. I'd box the power amp and preamp seperately.

If any of you electronics guru's are interested. Drop me a pm.

This M-60 is great when it's working. It even switchable between Class A/B. You gotta love that. This would provide some excellent electronics diagnostic experience. Get this thing going and it will definitely rock your world. BTW, FWIW, it loves to feast on vinyl rock.

Hey GT; Hope you don't mind. I posted a link over at the AudioKarma forum where it should get a wider audience.

Those are good folk over there too.
