Default Antiquity 1 Hot TX Strat pups...cap value.

Does anyone use a .022 cap with these pickups ? I'm running a .047 now and would like to get them a little more present...a little more sparkle. I know they are darker via the alnico 2 mags, but I figured I'd ask the experts. These are in a 62 RI strat.

I always use .022's with my singles and hb's and have liked the results everytime. They should definitley give you more sparkle and treble from what you're using now.

I use .022s with em, but I'll tell you something, no cap will get them unmuddy if you're playing them though a turned down amp. The key for them the sound REALLY great is to use them through a cranked amp. Then it doesn't matter if you are using high or low gain, they'll sound great without being too harsh like the A5s tend to be.
