    Post Does this sound odd or weird to anyone? (ebay)

    So I decided to bid on a guitar on ebay. Seller has great feeback and is local to the area. Sent him an email this morning and he got back to me in a few hours. I have the option for a refund after 7 days, so that's good since I feel more comfortable checking guitars out at home. Anyway, I just realized that this store is only a few minutes away from where I work (didn't realize he was that local). Would it be odd or weird to go check it out after I already bid on the item?

    Just do a search of items that are located near you. If you see something you like, check it out.

    It shouldn't be a big deal. I had a guy give me grief about it once. They'd had a Martin advertised on their sign (it was a pawn shop, not a guitar store) for several weeks so I decided to stop by and check it out. He said they'd put it up on ebay and he didn't let people play it afterwards. I let him know that he was still advertising it and there's no way I'd buy a Martin sight unseen (at this point I'd already decided I didn't want it, but I wanted to make a point). He finally went back and got it. I took it out of the case, looked it over, and made it look like I was really interested in it.

    Normally I'd have never made such a fuss, but you can't bait people into the store like that. Ah well. He's always overpriced anyway.

    Ok, I'm going to try and check it out tomorrow on my lunch break at work. I think I'm getting alittle paranoid. He said its in "like new" condition so I'm taking his word on it for now.
