    Default Hot Rails grounded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi to everyone
I have a question that i hope somebody may be help me with, this probally relates to all pick-ups and not just the hot rails though!!
My Mex Strat has Duckbuckers neck and middle and a hot rails on the bridge,
wired through a Fender TBX tone pot. The Duckbuckers are silent
when not playing but the hot rails picks up a small amount of interferance, is this a ground problem, or is it because of the power of the pick-up????
    Any ideas any one!!!

ok, with the amp on, select only the hot rails with the pickup selector, take your hands off the strings, is there a noticable hum? if it hums when you take your hands off the strings but stops when you touch them, it's a grounding problem
