There's a video for Finger Paintings of the Insane up on youtube, if any of you guys are interested. Just PM me and I'll send you the link, or you can look for it on youtube. I won't post the link here in the thread since some might think it's too disturbing and inappropriate. If you decide to look for it and don't like what you see and/or hear, don't say you weren't warned.

It was alright, the fingerpaintings of the insane song.. Didn't really catch me.
The video.. wasn't disturbing at all?
I didn't say I found it disturbing, but some might. Probably no one viewing the thread would.
I was listening to this stuff when I was younger. One of the few songs by them that I liked. Too bad no one made a video for Jezebel. That song rocked.
Sorry you didn't like it, man. I thought some of you might dig it.

****, Damn thats a lotta suggestions. I'm gonna have my work cut out for me researching all these![]()
Dunno really, all I really know is what I'm not looking for.
I'm not really into vocalists that are "belters". Like, the guy from symphony X, or James Labrie *shudder*. Not that I'm totally opposed to that style, its just that I've never heard one that's really been able to "move" me.
I'm not really much into metalcore. I used to be real into Shadows fall and killswitch engage, but they really don't do much for me nowadays.
I'm not really a Lamb of god or the haunted fan either, though I do like *some* of their stuff.
Lyrics about vikings, lots and lots of killing (unless we're talking about opeth's "serenity-painted death", that's just ****ing intense), and/or dungeons/dragons/Bilbo Baggins tend to be an immediate turn off as well.
VK just got me into Chimaira's new one. I'm really diggin that.
Peace,
Dan

I'd check out Disillusion, as well... it's way progressive - I have a feeling you'll dig it.

Krank, consider this the day that changes the above. If you wanted, you could 'get past' Geoff Tate and focus on the fantastic instrumental element. But you won't need to - you'll see just how effective a good set of pipes can be when not wasted on unnecessary theatrics.
The CD is Queensryche EP Remastered. It's contains their LP, containing four studio tracks... and the Live in Tokyo concert. You're getting it for the latter. Make sure the you get the Remastered version.
It looks like this:
If that's too metal for you, then go for Operation: Mindcrime. Rest assured that you can never fail with that album.
Enjoy.![]()

ESP LTD Ninja-600 (mirror) (Invader/Distortion)
Schecter Syn Special (Invader set)

Lets cut to the point and forget about Trivium. It's just better for everyone in the long run to just not listen to Trivium.
Krank, according to your first post you should check out the band Symbyosis and their album Crisis. They have a big OLDER soilwork influence and are just a good atmospheric melo-death band in general. They also have some great guitar work.
