Default Can A p90 go into a humbucker route?

I just bought a p90 here on the Trade board. I am considering trying to put it in the neck of my double humbucker guitar. Wuill it fit with the pickup rings in the humbucker route?

I'm sure you know/you've heard this but the Phat Cat is a p90 in a humbucker route/size

Yes, Thanks. I'm beggining to realise that it wont be a perfect fit. Question is, will it look ok ,and how much space is left over in the route?

Nah it doesn't work, they're wider which requires some routing and it just generally looks pretty fugly.

Phat Cats or Gibby P-94's are the way to go.

different size---P90's need a wider rout...after which you will need to fill holes to remount HB's if you change your mind. Consider carefully...
