    The thing about BB was that for 20 plus years he has played shows damned near every night, from smaller venues to clubs to arenas to festivals and college-wide events.

    It could be argued if you hadn't seen BB then it was because he just hadn't managed to turn up in your living room....yet.

    Go...now....

    And tomorrow night on the drive home I'm going to listen to "Live From Cook County."

    Someone as obese as him with diabetes is always fighting an uphill battle when they are sick....I just hope he continues to get better. Man he puts on a good show!

    Man, everyone that means something to me as a guitarist and musician is getting old really fast...

    I saw him at the Fox Theater many years ago, right after I turned 16. The linuep was a very young Kenny Wayne Shepherd, the Neville Brothers, and BB King. Man that was a great show. I hope he recovers quickly.

    When I saw him in LR in 05 he weighed at least 100lbs more than a regular person should, couple that with diabetes.......the Lord must be looking out for him and he must have some more music to write.

    Yeah, I work at the hosptial where he was admitted; they're releasing info to the media in town. From what I understand he was supposed to be playing in town and was just feeling very tired. The management at the hospital announced that he was doing well and was to be discharged Friday or Saturday. Hope he's out soon.
