Excellent development for such a young boy. He knows how to hit them notes... his touch, phrasing, tone and feel should be very mature in half a decade or so - which will leave us with a super tasty player at the young age of sixteen!

    This little feller plays good!

Better than the Nick Sterling kid who gets all the endorsement deals he wants

He isn't even close to Nick Sterling's playing. Nick Sterling's bends are flawless in intonation, his speed is amazing on some things I've heard, and he plays better than the majority of adults I've heard.

great playing, but i'm sure he'll turn punk or metal once puberty sets in and he starts rejecting his dad, no more blues i feel.

And he'll start rejecting him cuz he forced him to play guitar. heheh.

I like how when he looks at the camera you can see that it's like he's trying to say, "God help me, I'm trapped and forced to learn guitar so someone can videotape and 'youtube' me".

    But all in all. Nice.

He's a great player, no doubt, but his playing and tone were nothing special. Now, when he is my age, he'll be 40 times better, no doubt. But right there? Compared to your average 30 year old player? Nothing special.

Nick Sterling (in the clip I saw) sounded pretty great. Didn't like the tone much though.

I wouldn't worry about it mate - as long as you enjoy what you play

I went through years of forcing myself to get more proficient and suddenly realised I wasn't enjoying playing anymore!

So I sold the Ibanez Jem - bought an epiphone goldtop les paul (now fitted with sweet duncans ) and set about playing music I actually enjoy

    Yey
