Default Anyone Used That D'Addario Players Points Program?

I'm sending out on order on Monday... Using the same brand of strings for 5 years really makes those points add up!

Anyone else done it? I think I'm going to snag a coffee mug or two, and a D'Addario and Evans lanyard. They're all out of stools and black shirts, so I'm saving some points until they get those back in stock.

I'm a dealer for them, and they are top notch to deal with. If something goes wrong just tell me, and I will find the appropriate person to yell at.

I used the program many years ago. I've used their strings ever since but haven't redeemed the points, I must have 500! I better check out the latest merch!

Could someone enlighten me as to how exactly the points thing works? (I've been playing d'addarios for 2 years straight now and this sounds kinda interesting...)

I've got a couple of mugs, 4 of the pint glasses and a T-shirt from them. Nice stuff.

I've been saving the D'Addario points since 1990 or so. I've been waiting for just THE right thing. Plus I take my drummer's Evans heads points as well. I have an overnight bag full of them.

    You think I'm kidding.

I'm waiting for the stool to come in, and maybe a black shirt to come in stock.

They have a really nice gig bag for like 300 points - I'd have gotten that if I had enough.

I threw away 6 or 8 labels last year. I was collecting them, but I quit using D'Addario strings years ago.

DR does make great strings, if I remember correctly, they lasted the longest out of all brands I've tried except for Elixir.

Bass strings get expensive when you kill them after 2 or 3 days like I do (regardless if you wipe down the strings after), so I personally may switch back to DR, or go with Elixir. For guitar strings, I'm an EB convert.

Cleartone is a new one that is supposed to be a better alternative to Elixir, from what I hear.

Not yet, but I have a gigantic stack of old string packages, waiting to be redeemed. Probably will soon, now that you remind me.
