Ouch please help me
So I have the following boss pedals, in order. TU-2, CS-3, DS-1, DD-7, RC-20. Now when I use my hot guitar, which has SD Blackouts AHB-1 I come across an extremely annoying problem. My cleans are hot, crisp and sound fantastic, as soon as I stomp on the DS-1 I lose all volume. When I use my other guitar with passive PUPS I get lees volume on the clean, and the DS-1 is flawless. So what I end up doing is turning down the volume from my guitar until the clean and distortion match up. Does anyone have any ideas as why this might be the case? |

That's an interesting one... so when you step on the DS-1 with your blackout-equipped guitar your volume just goes silent? Or can you still hear it somewhat? What's the volume on the DS1 set to in this case?

Very faint. Over 80% volume loss. I've cranked the DS1 volume to max!

I've had the same problem when useing a DS-1 and a guitar with Hot pickups...I find the DS-1 sounds better with lower output pickups, and the Volume drop goes away entirely, and can actually achieve some boost....I dunno what to suggest to help ya though.
