Default trem arm hole O.o

so this is the next segment in the

Dmandude has one messed up project!!!!

soo i got a lis. floyd rose on this porject guitar and it has this hole where the arm goes...the hole is threaded so me being me i got a bolt 1 nuts and a small steel pole and made an arm. i welded the pole to the nut (well ym dad did) and took the nut on either sides of the trem itself. just about 5-10 mintues ago the welding broke and i was sad

this is a diagram of the trem and arm work lmao

noooow this is the hole in the trem..what part can go there so i have an arm of this trem

But tbh i don´t feel the single locking wannabe floyds are really worth repairing, you´d be better off getting a cheap double locking floyd off ebay for 20 bucks IMO.

1. Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation please.
2. You're better off doing one of two things: Blocking the bridge and not worrying about using the trem, or junking it and picking up something else.

Best of luck, and clean your guitars every once in awhile, mkay?

The bottom collar goes in the bridge, the arm is detachable.

Usually just about everything

Properly set up, yes.

better tone?
"Better" is in the ear of the beholder, but most will probably agree yes.

Depends a bit on whether or not and how you use it, though.. if it´s set for dive only and almost never used, it shouldn´t be an issue anyway...

I prefer the single locking ones myself, saves time doing string changes.

^^ try it with the single locking and see if it stays in tune well enough for you. If it doesn´t, upgrade to double locking.

That guitar you're building is one serious piece of crap from the sounds of it - nothing works like it's supposed to.

Try finding a used Jackson JT580, that should work a treat if it fits.
