I've got a couple of spots on this one where the binding had sanding scratches that I didn't see, then the stain that I slopped onto the binding settled into the scratches and is now very tenacious indeed. Oh, well, it's been a learning experience. I would actually do another one of these. I'd try to find a used Korean one in a painted solid color, then strip it down completely (top included) and do a more thorough job of surface prep.
